We recently upgraded the Spam Assassin definitions in an effort to keep out more spam. I noticed a huge reduction in the amount of spam making it through. As I've done in the past, I've kept track of spam this weekend, and here're the results.

I have two mailboxes with MIS: one a personal address, one my business address. I kept track of my messages from the close of business on Friday until opening on Monday. Here are the results of BOTH email boxes summed.

302 total email received (on the old system, this would've been closer to 500 or 600).
12 emails came through that were spam, but not marked as such.
The Spam Assassin correctly identified 96% of my spam.
No legitimate messages were mis-tagged as spam.
Spam Assassin correctly identified 100% of my legit mail.
